What is adaptive conductivity?
Autel MaxiBAS BT506 applies Adaptive Conductance to measure the conductivity state of a battery. Compared to traditional load testers, this technology allows multiple tests without draining the battery and testing of batteries that are weak or almost completely discharged. In Vehicle Test:
1.Battery Test:
Autel MaxiBAS BT506 digital battery load test tool supports in-vehicle and out-of vehicle testing of 6- and 12-volt, 100 -2000 CCA, Flooded, AGM, AGM Spiral, EFB and GEL batteries, and compatible with major battery test standards CCA, CA, SAE, EN, IEC, DIN, JIS and MCA. It can test almost all the transportation tools batteries such as car, boat, motorcycle or any other. The battery test results include a color-coded results summary, a list of test data, and repair tips.
2.Starter Test:
Follow the on-screen instructions, start the engine and let it idle. Then the test results of the cranking system will display on the screen which include starting voltage, starting current and starting time.
3.Generator Test:
Through the alternator test, technicians are able to check the load voltage/current, no load voltage/current, and ripple. The direct test result on the screen will tell you whether the charging is normal, and whether there is an issue with the output or ripple, which helps avoid damaging the battery and shortening its life due to overcharging or incomplete charging.

New to the battery tester? No worries! Autel BT506 provides detailed and step-by-step instructions, just follow the on-screen indicators, you can easily complete the battery diagnosis.
Automatically identify battery type:
Clip the BT506 to a vehicle battery, the vehicle information will be filled in automatically and the Battery Information tab will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select the correct battery parameters on the screen to run the diagnostics.
Polarity protection:
Metal terminals of BT506 are protected by short circuit protection, don't worry even if you reverse the positive and negative poles.
Easy sharing of repair reports:
The battery test app can save a history of repair reports from your diagnostic sessions. A repair report in PDF format can also be generated for easy viewing, sharing and printing of these reports.
